Does my house have asbestos?
Asbestos products were banned across Australia from 31 December 2003, and homes built or renovated before 1990 are the most likely to contain them. Only a laboratory test can confirm it.
How long do results take?
Standard reports and lab results take 3 to 5 business days. Choose 24 hour turnaround for an extra 50% on the whole price, available when samples are lodged with the laboratory before 3pm on a business day.
Can you test after a storm for my insurance claim?
Yes. Our storm damage assessment documents the damaged materials, the lab results and how the event affected them, which is the evidence insurers and AFCA look for.
Do you remove asbestos?
We test, audit and certify. Keeping testing independent from removal means our results have no reason to favour a bigger job. We can refer licensed removalists and do the clearance inspection afterwards.
How is travel priced?
From the actual distance between your property and our nearest base, at an hourly travel rate, with a 30 minute minimum. It is shown as its own line before you pay. We book up to 300 km from every capital city and the Gold Coast.
